hmm, this is terribly difficult question to answer. i read a lot of non-fiction and theory, most often texts relating to issues of emigration, religion, race and ethnicity, and general perceptions of being. i really love carlos ginzburg, chinua achebe, and i guess i will always have a deep soft spot for bataille. also, ferdowsi’s shahnameh… was obsessed for a good two years…
